Experiment Exposed: The many faces

5 Jul

Muse Experiment ExposedScreaming.  Laughing.  Machines whirring, and Lala’s face appearing on walls.  How do you feel about Lala in this current moment? What do you hear in this current moment?  What do you see in this current moment?

These were three questions asked after a reported muse experiment took place in Lala Drona’s art laboratory.  Just two weeks after the “Drones gone rogue” scandal, Drone Jack and Drone Ember release a shocking account of one of the muse experiments taking place in the Lala Laboratory.  Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 06.29.33.pngDrone Ember recounts being “called upon” for one of Lala Drona’s art experiments.  After being paired up with another Drone (Drone Jack, whom opens the video with a speech) the two are led into the deepest rooms of the art laboratory.   Here, the two Drones aid in Lala’s strange inspiration extraction tactics.

This story certainly gives us much desired information about the inner workings of the laboratory and its experiments.  Drone EmberHowever, what type of inspiration extracted from the experiment, and how Lala will apply it to her art pieces has yet to be revealed.  Lala’s followers wait with anticipation for the release of the art piece inspired by this experiment, in order to gain more insight to the artist’s process, and to the inner workings of the experiments.

Thank you to Drone Jack and Drone Ember for their bravery and candor.

STOP MUSE TRADING! Artists speak out.

STOP MUSE TRADING

Artists are rising up and speaking out against “unfair” Art World legislation. After the Muse Strikes last year, the Art Guild granted Muses union protection in order to avoid the exploitation of their services to artists. Since legislation passed, thousands of Muse Service Provider companies have emerged, stimulating Art World economy and reducing the number of Muse Abuse reports.

Although Muse abuse reports are at an all time low, artists and muses across the globe are claiming that Muse exploitation is in fact rising. Since the birth of the Muse industry, new requirements for Muse education program certificates have limited low income Muses in their job-search.

Muses with unconventional inspiration tactics have been pushed aside due to Muse Service Provider’s strict selection process and standardized health tests. Many young and inexperienced Muses are being forced to sell their services on the black market, a place where union support is obviously not granted. “If Muses want to report abuse to the authorities, they’ll be thrown in jail for participating in the black market,” states artist Lans Thorne. “This explains the decrease in Muse abuse reports.”

Strict regulations on Muse services have also negatively affected the artists. Due to mandatory full disclosure contracts, artists lack a level of privacy and trust required to create with their Muses. Strict time regulations impede the artistic process. Even if the Muse would like to prolong the meeting with his/her artist, he/she cannot due to a breach of contract.

As legal Muse service prices have sky-rocketed, low income artists have also been forced to search for their Muses on the black market. Artists like Fred Le Chevalier have begun to speak out against the system that exploits Muses for their services. “The muses aren’t paid as well as they should be under these service providers. All the money goes to the company and to [the Art Guild] in the form of fees and taxes.”

What seems to be troubling Lala and other artists the most is the increase in illegal Muse trading. “Yes, I torture and abuse my Muses, but I’ve never done anything against their will. The increase in Muse trading is a direct consequence to an overly regulated and ridged system that makes the rich richer.”

Lala has teamed up with other Parisian artists in the aim to change Art legislation. She was caught last week discussing tactics with Lans Thorne at his exhibition This Synthetic Life. In addition, Lala was spotted making peace with artist Fred Le Chevalier at his current exhibition in Paris. Are these artists teaming up in order to bring the Art Guild down? Does Lala really want to save the Muses, or is this a petty attempt at revenge against the Art Guild convicting her to Art Prison? Stay tuned as things start heating up in The Lala World.

SCANDAL! Drone #1 speaks from the grave.

7 Apr

Three months after his death, Drone #1’s cell phone has been discovered.  It was found in the middle of a construction site outside the 13th district of Paris, buried deep in the rubble and it’s memory wiped.  However, the authorities were able to recover some of the lost data.  Among questionable images and messages stored in the phone, was a video of Drone #1 warning his fellow Drones against an alleged evil plot.

The Art Guild intends to question Lala and her Drones in the coming week.  Could Lala really be turning against her Drones and those around her? Or perhaps Drone #1 is misrepresenting Lala…an act of revenge before his banishment from The Lala World?

Update on new painting by Lala Drona

Just in, Lala Drona is confirmed to participate in a collective exhibition in Paris this October.  The names of the ten other artists have not yet been released.  The inspiration for the triptych that Lala will create was inspired by her last Lala Laboratory experiment, where she fed one of her Drones to a Muse. Lala Drona has decided to depict the story of how she and the Breast Series are connected and how she has used these images/story to create the artist we know today.

Stay tuned for more information on Lala’s coming exhibition.

Lala Feeds Drone #1 to the Muses

Lala Feeds Drone #1 to the MusesContrary to belief that the Lala Laboratory had been shut down, Lala releases photographs of her latest art experiment: What happens when we feed a Drone to a Muse?

The Lala laboratory is where Lala Drona collaborates with other Drones and conducts controversial research on Muse inspiration extraction.  Lala’s controversial methods have always included Muse abuse, but why has she now decided to turn on her Drones?Close-up

Last month, Lala Drona banished Drone #1 from The Lala World due to a breach of contract:

Drone Code #1: Drones will be loyal to Drones, Drone will be loyal to Lala.

Lala has since filmed herself ceremonially burning Drone #1’s name tag: a symbol of his expulsion from The Lala World.

When Drone #1 abandoned the project, Lala said she would, “feed Drone #1 to the Muses.”  However, in a statement released yesterday morning, Lala stated, “I originally said it as a joke, but then I thought of the possibilities.  What kind of inspiration could be produced if a Muse ate a Drone?  …Drone #1’s banishment would not be in vain.”

Lala is still waiting for conclusive results from the Drone-Muse experiment, but says that results produced so far have both “amazed and shocked” her.  Journalists everywhere are keeping an eye on Drone web forums in hopes of finding reactions to Lala’s new experiment.  Have they accepted the brutal removal of their Drone comrade?  Or has Lala gone too far this time?  Stay tuned as we uncover more secrets from within the Lala Laboratory.

Lala’s new series: egomania or altruism?

After the completion of “The Breast Series” and the series “Sexe Sans Sex,”   Lala presents her upcoming series The Lala World. This series is inspired by the fan blog “Based on a Fact” where fans and journalists release fictionalized updates on the artist’s adventures.  Each article on the blog is written with a bit of truth mixed with lies.  Lala has decided to begin painting this world to create a mirror effect, reality reflecting the virtual and visa-versa.  The artist has decided to unite all forms of her artistic expression (painting, creative writing, photography and video) and is committing artistically to this new universe.

Critiques question if this is simply proof of the artist’s extreme self-involvement.  The first two paintings depict the artist almost religiously: In the piece titled Beecoming Lala she is depicted as queen bee, and in both of the new pieces, there is a halo around Lala’s head.

On the other hand, some critics ask if this new series is a grand gesture of selflessness…an attempt to create an alternate world in which other creative-types can co-exist.  “If the world’s rules don’t fit you, create your own world,” Lala stated during an exhibition interview with L.D. Times.

Whether this is an act of egomania or altruism, Drones and Muses everywhere stand strong, awaiting the artist’s upcoming projects.  What’s to become of Lala Drona this year?  Keep following as she spreads her wings and continues to recruit Drones and Muses from all around the world.

GoodbyeDrone1

P.E.D.:  Post Exhibition Depression.  This syndrome is a consequence of the rise in cortisone levels and surge of endorphins produced in the body to deal with the stress of the pre-exhibition process.  After the exhibition, artists experience a sort of “come down” from this self-produced drug high.

Life after the exhibition From the Bed to the Lab has been far from easy.  Lala has confirmed that she is suffering from P.E.D. and plans to “relax and spend time with friends and family during this difficult period.”  However, her attempts to lay low have not been successful.

Lala with her loyal Drones.

Lala with her loyal Drones.

During the exhibition take-down, a fight broke out between Lala Drona and Drone #1.  Lala was reported threatening to “feed Drone #1 to the Muses.”  The reason for the blow out is unknown, but unconfirmed sources say the Drone #1 just never felt at home in The Lala World, and “needed a break for soul searching.”  Lala has released a statement saying that her and Drone #1 would no long be working together due to artistic differences.

When asked if she would be looking for a replacement, Lala said no, and that she would be retiring the number 1.  However, she is not saving the title in hopes that Drone #1 will return.  For the most part, The Lala World has an open door policy.  Collaborators enter and leave as they please.  However, once recruited by the Army of Drones, under contract, one is required to be loyal to Lala and other Drones.  Any form of mission abandonment is a breach of contract and results in a permanent surrender of one’s Drone title.

Journalists have tried interviewing other Drones to hear their opinion on the situation, but all have managed to remain silent.  When questioned about Drone #1’s banishment from Lala World, Lala stated, “Drone #1 in not banished.  He can return, but he can never return as a Drone.”

Convicted of Muse Abuse

11 Jul

Lala arrestedDo not pass go, do not collect two-hundred dollars.  News just released of Lala Drona trespassing onto private property while faking a personal tour of the Lala Laboratory.  Lala Drona leads an art laboratory where they run experiments on inspiration development and extraction.  Recently, allegations were brought forward staing that Lala Drona had been conducting unethical experiments on Muses to extract thei inspiration for her artwork; “These experiements could only be described with the word “torture,” stated Lindsay Cullum, investigative journalist.

In response to the allegations, the artist invited journalists to her underground layer to disprove accusations of muse abuse and torture.  However, the property Lala was showing had been a front to deflect the media from her real underground layer.  Embarrassingly enough, the authorities caught Lala in the act (as you can see at the end of the tour video) and arrested her on the spot.  She is rumored to be held on seven accounts of muse abuse and trespassing and could be in prison for up to two months before she is allowed to post bail.  The media are currently working with the authorities to unearth the real location of the Lala Laboratory.

Based on a Fact will be the first to let all of you Drones know when Lala leaves the Slammer, but until then, the website will be frozen until all litigations on such a matter are resolved.
