Experiment Exposed: The many faces

5 Jul

Muse Experiment ExposedScreaming.  Laughing.  Machines whirring, and Lala’s face appearing on walls.  How do you feel about Lala in this current moment? What do you hear in this current moment?  What do you see in this current moment?

These were three questions asked after a reported muse experiment took place in Lala Drona’s art laboratory.  Just two weeks after the “Drones gone rogue” scandal, Drone Jack and Drone Ember release a shocking account of one of the muse experiments taking place in the Lala Laboratory.  Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 06.29.33.pngDrone Ember recounts being “called upon” for one of Lala Drona’s art experiments.  After being paired up with another Drone (Drone Jack, whom opens the video with a speech) the two are led into the deepest rooms of the art laboratory.   Here, the two Drones aid in Lala’s strange inspiration extraction tactics.

This story certainly gives us much desired information about the inner workings of the laboratory and its experiments.  Drone EmberHowever, what type of inspiration extracted from the experiment, and how Lala will apply it to her art pieces has yet to be revealed.  Lala’s followers wait with anticipation for the release of the art piece inspired by this experiment, in order to gain more insight to the artist’s process, and to the inner workings of the experiments.

Thank you to Drone Jack and Drone Ember for their bravery and candor.

EXPLOSION!: Lala Laboratory, no more.

Authorities scramble to find the culprits behind the Lala Laboratory bombing.

Three days ago, Lala was tried in court and forced to disclose the locationMuse sweatshop. of her secret underground laboratory. Courts issued a warrant permitting the Art Guild to search the laboratory premises where they found
incriminating evidence of Lala’s unethical, not to mention illegal, art and inspiration experiments on Muses.

Yesterday, the building was evacuated, leaving approximately 70 Muses and Drones homeless.  Authorities say that Lala was not found inside the laboratory during the sting operation.  However, it turns out that during the event, Lala Drona and her selected entourage (Drone #1, DJ Mafe and Drone Olchin) went 100_0697-300x225into hiding in a secret wing of the laboratory, one that does not appear in Lala Laboratory architectural plans. Le group played a congenial game of poker throughout the night.

At 2am, authorities received word of an explosion in distric 94.  The Lala Laboratory had been bombed.

Drones alerted the authorities that Lala Drona and her entourage were trapped inside.  Six hours later, search and rescue dogs sniffed out the group.  Lala described the event:

“There was a terrible ringing in my ears as I looked for my companions. I maxresdefault.jpgfound DJ Mafe first, who told me that Drone Olchin and Drone #1 were trapped behind a door wedged shut by a large scolding pipe. There was yelling on the other side of the door. The walls were caving in. Mafe and I pushed the pipe up and out of the way, freeing the Drones.” Mafe and Lala Drona obtained 2nd and 3rd degree burns on their hands from the ordeal.

CHINA-ACCIDENT-BLAST

Search and rescue teams successfully removed the group from the rubble at 2:20PM, 12 hours after the bomb had gone off. They are currently being treated at the Paris Plaza Hospital in the 4th arrondissement under 24 hour surveillance, as they are now considered a security threat.

Damages to the lab were irreparable. They include the destruction of all current art projects, Lala’s current manuscript, and administrative material such as gallery contracts and invoices for artwork sold. All progress made on Muse inspiration extraction research has been lost.Screen Shot 2016-01-09 at 16.37.46.png

The authorities have asked that you contact them at
drona.lala@gmail.com
if you happen to find any fallout from the explosion (documents or laboratory notebooks). Authorities are specifically interested in finding a small laboratory notebook with the words “Lala Laboratory” written on the cover (photo on left).  The contents of this notebook are considered to be highly dangerous and the notebook is thought to play a crucial part in solving the laboratory bombing case.

Nominated for Work on Damon’s Head

Lala Drona’s head prosthetic earns her a nomination for this year’s SDA awards.

In recent news, Lala Drona is claiming her work on Matthew Damon’s head.

Nominations for the bi-annual Screen Development Awards have been announced. Lala Drona, the first female fine artist to be nominated for the award, was selected for her work “The Tree of Life” on Matt Damon’s head in the 2013 film Elysium.

Every two years, the SDA awards artists for advancements in special effects make-up technology. The SDA aims to promote art in special effects make-up in an era where computer generated effects dominates the industry.

However, complaints were filed not more than one hour after Lala Drona received her nomination for the award. Now that the demand for special effects artists has hit a low, it seems that only major players in the industry are able to stay afloat. Since Lala Drona’s piece “The Tree of Life” was a product of the Lala Laboratory, some say the SDA should also take action to promote and support independent artists.

One of Lala’s fans is surely not complaining. Matt Damon accompanied Lala Drona to the nomination ceremony, where sources say the duo were reprimanded for incessant giggling and whispering during the announcements. Damon revealed that he decided to keep Lala’s prothetic implant intact under the skin of his skull even after finishing the movie. He’s a big fan of Lala’s and says that he likes the idea of being “a walking piece of art.”

Just nine months after her last exhibition at Düo Gallery in Paris, Lala has launched another showing of her work in the exhibition “Je suis…”  Her Muses, Drones, and Motivation Monster representatives showed their support, as collectors, gallerists and fans stood in line to exchange words with the artist.

Drone #1 back at Lala's side?

Drone #1 back at Lala’s side?

Shockingly, even Drone #1 attended the event, stating he was there for the artist’s protection.  Days before the opening, Lala released a statement admitting that she has secretly been keeping Drone #1 in the laboratory since his breach in Drone Code.  “Nine months ago, I decided to launch a rehabilitation program for Drones.  Drone #1 has been the first participant in this program.”  In this boot camp, participants experience reconditioning aimed to eradicate the undesirable personality traits of insurgent Drones.

Lala also admits that Drone #1’s leaked video from last April was filmed during his rehabilitation program in the Lala Laboratory.  “It’s a difficult process, and rejection is the natural first step towards completion of the program.”

Drone #1 isn’t the only Drone fighting to be at Lala’s side.  Due to a successful exhibition opening, she has created masses of new Drones.  After the art opening, she rushed back to the Lala Laboratory in order to help her newborn Drones into the world.  Video documentation below.

Experiment 8: Lala feeds Drone #1 to Muse

Lala Drona documents her art experiment.  After a breach of Drone Code, Drone #1 is banished from The Lala World.  His death will not be in vain, as Lala donates his remains to Art!

Lala Feeds Drone #1 to the Muses

Lala Feeds Drone #1 to the MusesContrary to belief that the Lala Laboratory had been shut down, Lala releases photographs of her latest art experiment: What happens when we feed a Drone to a Muse?

The Lala laboratory is where Lala Drona collaborates with other Drones and conducts controversial research on Muse inspiration extraction.  Lala’s controversial methods have always included Muse abuse, but why has she now decided to turn on her Drones?Close-up

Last month, Lala Drona banished Drone #1 from The Lala World due to a breach of contract:

Drone Code #1: Drones will be loyal to Drones, Drone will be loyal to Lala.

Lala has since filmed herself ceremonially burning Drone #1’s name tag: a symbol of his expulsion from The Lala World.

When Drone #1 abandoned the project, Lala said she would, “feed Drone #1 to the Muses.”  However, in a statement released yesterday morning, Lala stated, “I originally said it as a joke, but then I thought of the possibilities.  What kind of inspiration could be produced if a Muse ate a Drone?  …Drone #1’s banishment would not be in vain.”

Lala is still waiting for conclusive results from the Drone-Muse experiment, but says that results produced so far have both “amazed and shocked” her.  Journalists everywhere are keeping an eye on Drone web forums in hopes of finding reactions to Lala’s new experiment.  Have they accepted the brutal removal of their Drone comrade?  Or has Lala gone too far this time?  Stay tuned as we uncover more secrets from within the Lala Laboratory.

From the Bed to the Lab: Lala’s upcoming exhibition.

31 Oct

Measure

Lala was spotted this week in Paris’ 11th district measuring the walls of Düo, where she’s due to show her work December 11th-13th.  Lala’s exhibition “From the Bed to the Lab” will be a retrospective look at her time in Paris: how the city helped her find her way down the rabbit hole we now call the Lala World.  The three series of paintings and installations Lala has chosen for the exhibition illustrate a persisting struggle to find a place of her own in the world.

“I’ve come to the conclusion that life it just one big do-it-yourself project.  Since that realization, I see the possibilities are endless.  That’s what this exhibition is about.”

Since Lala’s arrival in Paris, she has created her own world, composed of fact-fiction blog entries, paintings, videos and music.  “From the Bed to the Lab” will be Lala Drona’s first solo gallery exhibition in Paris to present this work.  The art pieces are to be accompanied by performances and DJ’s during the night hours (TBA).  Check Lala Drona’s facebook page and stay updated on details about the most anticipated Lala event of the year.

Scandal: Muse Sweatshop Discovered

14 Jun

ScandalLala Drona’s trip to the United States was not in vain!  After successful meetings with prosthetics technicians and various biotech designers, she has officially become the first artist with a mechanical hand.

Due to legal issues, we are not able to reveal details implicating the creators nor the model/brand of the new and controversial bio-prosthetic.  However, a thorough investigation indicates slight participation by DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). Nonetheless, Based on a Fact would like to break another story.  A story involving the torture of Muses.  Torture perpetuated by an artist we all know very well.  It was Lala Drona who used Muses as test subjects in research for her new mechanical hand.

Interview with Muse #1098.

Journalists infiltrated the very secret Lala Laboratory which is, to media knowledge, still under construction.  Inside, journalists found small rooms that were fully furnished.  Rooms officially confirmed to be Muse research sites.

Muses from all over the Department 94, France are reporting abuse to unions and officials everywhere.  Muses state that they were held hostage and brainwashed to undergo experiments.  Reports describe Muses texting on smartphones and typing on laptops for days on end after forced prosthetic attachments. (Footage caught by journalist below)

Lala has pleaded “no comment” to reporters on the subject, while refusing to let the authorities examine her hand.  A deeper investigation into the Lala Laboratory is scheduled for next week while the authorities wait for a proper search warrant.  Only time can tell what will surface next concerning Lala and her questionable projects.

The Lala Laboratory

5 Mar

Abra Collabra!

Since the muse crisis, quality undocumented muses have been hard to come by.  Lala continues to refuse documented muse services and is rumored to have had bad luck with recent undocumented musework.  In a drought of inspiration, what is an artist to do?

Lala has kicked off the construction of her new Laboratory called The Lala Lab.  Here, she hopes to create a workshop for visiting artists which includes lodging for both muses and artists in residence.  The laboratory will be sectioned into two parts: one side for the muses, and the other for artists.  Selected Drones will be invited for residency in the Drone Location Research Program.

Lala on phone complaining about the misspelling of her "Drone Location" sign.

Lala on phone complaining about the misspelling of her “Drone Location” sign.

“The Laboratory will be a space of research and creation, as well as experimentation,” states Pauline Sager, Lala’s new publicist.  Lala’s team has been wheeling and dealing donors left and right to get the project off the ground (its estimated cost to be well into the hundreds of thousands of euros).  So why is Lala pouring every last penny into a dangerously fruitless endeavor?

Liza Laurence, a journalist for the L.D. Times ran into Lala in the Paris subway last week.  “When I asked (Lala) what her next move would be, she said, ‘I’ve completely drained myself of my own ideas.  That’s why I have always stolen them from others.’  She wrote something down in a notebook and looked up. ‘My muse is gone, and he took my right brain with him.  Time to use the ideas stored on the left side.’”

Midnight30The strange thing is, Lala seems to be denying muses and adopting artists.  In the past few months, she has been scouted by ZP Productions, and asked to do a series of collaboration pieces with another artist under the pseudonym Midnight 30.  ZP Productions (who is also helping finance the Lala Laboratory) is a company that links artists together in order to create unique series of art.  Hard at work, Lala is also co-writing a performance theater piece titled Art Show with friend Dean James Lovett who commented briefly on the collaboration.  “Lala and I are pretty much on the same track. We’ve just had a meeting, and there is serious potential.”

Dean James Lovett: "Art Show"

Is Lala teaming up with other artists in an attempt to overcome muse dependency?  If this is the case, she may be committing an age-old artistic faux pas.  Never use an artist as a muse.  There is an understanding in the community that one is either a muse or an artist, but never both.  Is Lala challenging this conception?  Or is she simply flailing, desperate to feed herself with stolen inspiration wherever she can find it?  Keep checking back to see what else this artist has got hiding up her sleeve.
