She showed her triptych “The Power of the Click: Women’s bodies on the Internet” at the exhibition Lettres, Mots et Clics.  The exhibition opening took place at Galerie Art’et Miss in the Marais, a Parisian neighbourhood webbed of cobblestone streets, a trendy neighbourhood which is home to a large LGBT community and a diverse array of streetart.  See the video of the exhibition below.

From the Bed to the Lab: Lala’s upcoming exhibition.

Lala was spotted this week in Paris’ 11th district measuring the walls of Düo, where she’s due to show her work December 11th-13th.  Lala’s exhibition “From the Bed to the Lab” will be a retrospective look at her time in Paris: how the city helped her find her way down the rabbit hole we now call the Lala World.  The three series of paintings and installations Lala has chosen for the exhibition illustrate a persisting struggle to find a place of her own in the world.

“I’ve come to the conclusion that life it just one big do-it-yourself project.  Since that realization, I see the possibilities are endless.  That’s what this exhibition is about.”

Since Lala’s arrival in Paris, she has created her own world, composed of fact-fiction blog entries, paintings, videos and music.  “From the Bed to the Lab” will be Lala Drona’s first solo gallery exhibition in Paris to present this work.  The art pieces are to be accompanied by performances and DJ’s during the night hours (TBA).  Check Lala Drona’s facebook page and stay updated on details about the most anticipated Lala event of the year.
